Camps collect years of worn-out furniture, mattresses, dead appliances and things nobody wants to drag up a camp road. Text photos of the job and the road in, get a price, and we clear the camp, the bunkhouse and the shed in one trip.
Central Maine Junk Removal handles the lifting, loading, hauling, and appropriate next step for the approved material. You show us the entire job, we explain the plan, and you receive a clear price before work begins.

Camp Cleanouts, explained.
What the job can include, how we approach it, and what helps us prepare an accurate quote.
01
Close up camp without the dump runs
Closing a camp usually turns up the things nobody wants to face in the spring: mouse-chewed mattresses, a sagging couch, the old fridge, broken chairs and the pile behind the bunkhouse. We load it in one trip, so your last weekend at camp isn’t spent waiting for the transfer station to open.
02
Camp roads, stairs and steep lots
Lake camps are rarely a curbside pickup. Text photos of the items and of the camp road or driveway, and we’ll tell you before we book whether the 5×10 trailer can get in. We do the carrying from the camp, the bunkhouse and the shed.
03
Priced by trailer space
Camp cleanouts use the same price sheet as every job: $150 minimum for 1–2 items, $250 for half the trailer and $400 for a full 5×10 trailer. Mattresses, fridges, tires and TVs carry small add-ons, and heavy material is quoted by weight. You get the price before anything is loaded.
Doing it yourself
What the lake-town transfer stations ask of camp owners
Belgrade: open Wednesday and Saturday, plus Thursday afternoons only from Memorial Day to Indigenous Peoples’ Day. You need a BTS sticker or temporary pass from the Town Office; seasonal residents qualify. Belgrade transfer station →
China: camp and seasonal owners need a $2 access permit for each vehicle, issued by the attendant with a vehicle registration or tax bill. Anything that isn’t kitchen household trash is charged as demo debris, which is weighed. China transfer station →
Sidney (Messalonskee): open Friday through Sunday. Couches, chairs, mattresses and freon appliances need permits bought at the Town Office before you go. Sidney transfer station →
Oakland: open Wednesday through Sunday. Bulky items have to be approved at the scale, and couches, mattresses, freon appliances, TVs and tires each carry a fee. Oakland transfer station →
Winthrop (Maranacook, Annabessacook): closed Sunday, Monday and Thursday. The $10 sticker is sold only at the station, with proof of residency. Winthrop transfer station →

Camps in every town on our service-area list, including Messalonskee (Snow Pond), Great Pond and Long Pond in Belgrade, McGrath Pond, Salmon Lake and East Pond in Oakland, China Lake, Webber Pond, Three Mile Pond, Maranacook, Annabessacook and Cobbossee.
Can you get a trailer down my camp road?
Text a photo of the road or driveway along with your item photos, and we’ll tell you before we book.
Do you take propane tanks and paint?
Ask first. Propane tanks, paint, fuel and other hazardous materials need special handling, so text photos before booking and we’ll tell you what we can take.
How is a camp cleanout priced?
By trailer space: $150 minimum for 1–2 items, up to $400 for a full 5×10 trailer, plus small add-ons for mattresses, fridges, tires and TVs. You get the price before anything is loaded.
